New York City – My favorites

Hello!

I just realised I never shared my New York City trip pictures! Here are some of my favourite ones as well as my top things to do for a first time in the city.

Je me rends compte que je n’ai toujours pas posté mes photos de New York, voici donc quelques unes de mes préférées ainsi que les lieux que j’ai le plus aimé.

Best view – Meilleure vue : The Empire State Building

Being the number one fan of Gossip Girl, I had to go to the Empire State Building! (and to all the other GG spots of course!) The view was just incredible.

Etant fan de la série télé Gossip Girl, je voulais vraiment voir la vue depuis l’Empire State Building, c’était époustouflant !

Best things to do – activités préférées : the Brooklyn Bridge and the Boat tour around Manhattan

We did the Circle Line, which is a boat tour that takes you around Manhattan for over 2 hours. It’s a great way to see the city from a different angle. I loved the Brooklyn Bridge and crossing it is one of my favorite memories from NYC.

Nous avons fait un tour en bateau, le Circle Line, qui nous a emmenés tout autour de Manhattan pendant deux heures. C’était super pour voir la ville sous un autre angle, c’est une belle balade et on passe tout près de la Statue de la Liberté. J’ai également adoré le Pont de Brooklyn et le traverser à pieds est un de mes plus beaux souvenirs à New York.

Best places to go out – Meilleurs endroits pour sortir

Well, there are so many but my favorite bar was definitely The Campbell (which is in Grand Central Station and on GG many many times). The Oyster Bar in Grand Central is fantastic too. I loved the pancakes and chocolate milkshake at EJ’s Luncheonette. The Boathouse is amazing for lunch, especially if it’s cold and raining outside, the place is so cozy and you have an amazing view on one of Central Park’s lakes.

J’ai aimé beaucoup de restaurants et bars mais mon endroit préféré est le bar The Campbell (situé dans la gare de Grand Central et qui est un des endroits où Gossip Girl est filmé). Le restaurant Oyster Bar dans la gare est aussi génial pour manger des huitres et du sandwichs au homard. J’ai adoré les pancakes et le milkshake au chocolat de chez EJ’s Luncheonette. Le restaurant Boathouse situé à Central Park est génial pour le déjeuner et la vue est superbe.
